NEW GARBAGE

Village of Stronghurst will be swithcing recycling and garbage carriers at the end of this month. LRS, our new company will be delivering each resident a trash cart and a recycling cart on November 27th and November 28th. They will begin at the north side of town and work their way down, please be patient with this process and our new company. Your service days for LRS will now be on MONDAYS, with your first day of service being December 4th. That will be both garbage and recycling and then recycling will be every other monday after that. If you do not receive a cart by the 30th, please contact village hall.
Secondly, Waste mangagement will have thier last day of service on November 25th due to Thanksgiving, please have your waste management trash cart (if you have one) and recycling cart to your curb by 6:00 a.m. that day. They will begin picking up the carts that day and continue through the 30th. Please do not remove your waste management carts. If your carts are not removed by the 1st, please contact village hall.
