Village of Stronghurst will be switching recycling and garbage carriers at the end of this month. LRS, our new company will be delivering each resident a trash cart and a recycling cart on November 27th and November 28th. They will begin on the north side of town and work their way down, please be patient with this process and our new company. Your service days will now be on MONDAYS with your first day of service being Decemeber 4th and that will be garbage and recycling. After that recycling will be every other monday. If you do not receive your new carts, please contact village hall.

Secondly, Waste management wil have thier last day of trash pick up on November 25th due to Thanksgiving. Please put your waste management trash cart (if you have one) and your waste management recycling cart at the curb by 6:00 am November 25th. They will begin collecting them that day, the collection process could take until November 30th so do no remove your waste management cart from your curb. If they are not removed by the 30th please contact village hall.
